Ozone Therapy

Ozone is another viable alternative cancer treatment that has received unwarranted bad press by conventional medicine promoters.

Through the action of lightning, nature produces ozone which has a purifying effect on our air. Ozone has a proven oxidizing, antiseptic and germicidal effect and has been used for these purposes for many years. Ozone (03) is electrified oxygen (O2) regardless of the technique used to manufacture it and is sometimes called triatomic, or polymeric oxygen. It is an allotropic form of oxygen and is the most active state of oxygen. It has been observed that ozone:

  • Inactivates viruses, bacteria, yeast fungi and protozoa
  • Stimulates the immune system
  • Supports and enhances the healing process
  • Cleans arteries and veins
  • Breaks up red blood cell clumping
  • Purifies blood and lymph

  • Increases the amount of oxygen in the blood

  • Prevents and reverses degenerative diseases
  • Prevents and treats communicable diseases
  • Prevents and eliminates auto-immune diseases

The therapeutic action of ozone is due to the oxygenation of the blood by the loose molecules (“free radicals”) of oxygen in ozone. It is carried to the various organs and tissues of the body and absorbed, thus oxidizing the waste, and facilitating their elimination. In other words, Ozone increases the metabolism without the expenditure of vital energy.

False Information On Ozone

Recently the FDA, and other such suppressive organizations have been trying to destroy the beneficial and life sustaining qualities of ozone by telling the public that ozone is toxic and harms the body. For example, ozone has been blamed for smog. Carbon monoxide, a deadly poison, is present in smog at about 3000 parts per hundred million. Toxic hydrocarbons are present in smog at about 100 parts per hundred million. Ozone is present in smog only briefly at around 25 parts per hundred million. Ozone has a half life of about 20 minutes.

Ozone in smog is produced by the effect of the sun’s energetic photons acting on polluting gases. Single molecules of oxygen are broken off these gases momentarily, but in seconds it reattaches itself to the other gases, which is part of nature’s system for cleaning the atmosphere.

The problem is not one of too much ozone in smog, but not enough ozone in the smog . If sufficient amounts existed, the pollutants would all be oxidized and rendered harmless.

Ozone is easy to measure, so they use this deceitful tactic to smear the name of ozone. Carbon monoxide is a proven killer. Ozone is a proven health enhancer.

Ozone was discovered by Schonbein in 1840 and has been used to purify water and treat patients for more than 160 years. Some major cities in Europe have used ozone to purify the municipal water supply since the turn of the century. The Los Angeles municipal water treatment facility uses ozone, and is the largest in the world. Most swimming pools in Europe use ozone rather than chlorine (Chlorine gas is a WMD) to purify water. It has been known for at least 100 years that ozone is highly germicidal in that it will almost instantly kill virtually all viruses, bacteria, fungi, parasites, molds, cancer, etc. It is known to oxidize just about all manmade chemicals. An Abbreviated History

Ozone therapy was accepted medicine in the USA from at least 1880 until 1932, a period of fifty-two years.

In 1881 Dr. J.H. Kellogg used ozone in steam saunas at his Battle Creek, Michigan clinic. He wrote about this in his book, “Diphtheria: Its Nature, Causes, Prevention and Treatment.”

In 1885 , the Florida Medical Association published “Ozone” by Dr. Charles J. Kenworthy, MD, detailing the use of ozone for therapeutic purposes.

In 1896 , the electrical genius Nikola Tesla patented his first ozone generator, and in 1900 he formed the Tesla Ozone Co. Tesla sold ozone machines and ozonated olive oil to doctors.

In 1898 Dr. Benedict Lust, a German doctor practicing in New York and the founder of Naturopathy, wrote many articles and books on ozone. Naturopathy has as its foundation the use of heat, light, air and water. Ozone qualifies as the ‘air’ segment.

In 1902 , J.H. Clarke’s “A Dictionary of Practical Materia Medica”, London, described the successful use of ozonated water — he called it “Oxygenium” — in treating anemia, cancer , diabetes, influenza, morphine poisoning, canker sores, strychnine poisoning and whooping cough.

In 1902 , Dr. Charles Linder MD, of Spokane, Washington was written up in an article in a local newspaper which stated that he injected ozone into patients as part of his standard medical practice.

In 1904 “The Medical Uses of Hydrozone and Glycozone” by Charles Marchand, a New York chemist. Hydrozone was another name for ozonated water and Glycozone was another name for ozonated olive oil. This book is in the Library of Congress with the US Surgeon General’s stamp of approval on it.

In 1910 Sears sold ozone generators.

In 1911 , “A Working Manual of High Frequency Currents” was published by Dr. Noble Eberhart, MD, the head of the Dept. of Physiologic Therapeutics at Loyola University, Chicago. He details the use of ozone to treat tuberculosis, anemia, chlorosis, tinnitus, whooping cough, asthma, bronchitis, hay fever, insomnia, pneumonia, diabetes, gout and syphilis.

In 1912 , Dr. H.C. Bennett published “Electro-Therapeutic Guide”. He described the inhaling of Ozol, which is what he called ozone after bubbling it through eucalyptus, pine or thyme oils.

In 1913 , the Eastern Association for Oxygen Therapy was formed by Dr. Eugene Blass and some German associates.

In 1920 , Dr. Charles Neiswanger, MD, President of the Chicago Hospital College of Medicine published “Electro Therapeutical Practice.” Chapter 32 was entitled “Ozone as a Therapeutic Agent.”

In 1929 , a book called “Ozone and Its Therapeutic Action” was published in the USA. It listed 114 diseases and how to treat them with ozone . Its authors were the heads of leading American hospitals.

In 1930 The Journal of The American Medical Association published an article called: “The Therapeutic Use of Oxygen in Coronary Thrombosis”

In 1931 Dr. Otto Warburg wins first Nobel Prize for work proving cancer is caused by a lack of oxygen in the cells. He states in “The Prime Cause and Prevention of Cancer” that the cause of cancer is no longer a mystery, we know it occurs whenever any cell is denied 60% of its oxygen requirements. This occurs through a buildup of pollution or toxicity within and around the cell which blocks and then damages the cellular oxygen respiration mechanism.

Beginning Of Ozone Cover-up

In 1933, three years after being decleared “therapeutic” the American Medical Association (AMA), headed up by M. Fishbein, set out to eliminate in the USA all medical treatments that were competitive to drug therapy. The suppression of the use of ozone therapy by doctors in the USA began then, and continues to this day, except in thirteen states, where currently doctors are protected by state laws.

In 1938 In the Parisian Medical Bulletin, Paul Aubourg, Honorary Electro-Radiologist in the Hospitals of Paris, published “Medical Ozone: Production, Dosage, and Methods of Clinical Application Using Rectal Insufflation” noted that of 465 patients, the colon capacity varied from 150 to 800ccs so everyone was x-ray photographed to determine the proper dosage. Vaginal insufflations were common. Breathable concentrations of ozone were routinely applied to infected sinuses. Intermuscular injections were abandoned as too painful and ineffective. In 8000 applications of ozone, there were no accidents or harmful side effects.


Ozone (O3) is just oxygen (O2) with an extra molecule of oxygen. Several ozonides, peroxides and aldehydes are formed during ozone therapy. All are effective in fighting cancer. A recent study on Vitamin C by a US team led by Dr Mark Levine, from the National Institutes of Health in Maryland showed,

“that the growth of cells exposed to vitamin C was reduced from 50% to 99% depending on the type of cancer. Why it killed cancer cells but not normal cells was unknown. It was possible the hydrogen peroxide caused damage that was repaired in normal cells but not in sensitive cancer cells.”

Hydrogen Peroxide is a ozone by product. Something not mentioned in the study relates to vitamin C. Vitamin C tricks cancer cells into thinking it’s sugar. The tumor sucks it up like it’s sugar, and is killed from the inside out. So this is a very effective combination with ozone. Ozone will kill the tumor from the outside in, and Vitamin C will kill it from the inside out. However, ozone and Vitamin C should not be taken at the same time; they cancel each of their out. Leave two hours between using ozone and taking vitamin C.

There are two kinds of ozone:

  • Medical grade ozone. Ozone made from pure oxygen
  • Non-medical grade ozone. Ozone made from the air we breath which is mostly nitrogen, and has pollution in it, ozone made from this will contain nitrous oxide along with other toxins.

A medical grade generator uses an oxygen tank to make ozone and produces much more effective ozone. However, many poeple choice not to expereince the additional expense and succeed with non-medical grade ozone.


Ozone works by virtual of its instability and reactivity. The extra atom that makes O3 easily can break off and combine with other molecules oxidize them. This process usually takes about an hour. This process works on toxins, virus, bacteria, molds, mildew, fungus, and cancer cells. For example, the extra oxygen atom can combine with carbon monoxide (CO) and turn it into carbon dioxide (CO2), rendering it harmless. Your body is unable to process this toxic substance–carbon monoxide–and exposure to it can be fatal, but carbon dioxide is no problem for your body. Your body will routinely dispel carbon dioxide during respiration.

The way ozone boosts the immune system is by eliminating toxins, this frees up immune system to perform other work. There are several doctors that say ozone seems to actually take the place of the immune system. The most famous doctor saying this is Dr. Atkins, known for the Atkins diet. He treated several people with cancer in his clinic using ozone with good results.

The way ozone kills unhealthy cells, and not healthy cells is through enzymes. All healthy cells have three enzymes that protect them from being oxidized. All healthy cells love oxygen and require it to operate properly. Every cell is really a oxygen burning machine. Unhealthy cells don’t have these enzymes to protect them from being oxidized. This makes all unhealthy cells, including cancers defenseless to ozone. Cancer is fairly easy to kill if you can get enough ozone to the tumor. Cancer cells loose their ability to process oxygen properly, and start processing sugar instead. This is why cancer patients shouldn’t eat sugar. So it is the lack of oxygen, toxins, and lack of proper nutrition that is the cause of ALL cancers.

The way ozone kills viruses, bacteria, molds, fungus, and cancer because these organisms live in low oxygen environments. All of these, except cancer, lived on Earth before there was oxygen. They all thrived openly everywhere until oxygen thrived on Earth. Then they had to find places to hide like in dirt, plants, animals, decaying organic materials, and places in people that are low oxygen environments.

Ozone is a great penetrate also. I live in Washington State and had mold growing on the outside of my house. When I got my ozone generator, the mold was killed within a few months on the OUTSIDE of my house. The ozone penetrated paint, sheetrock, insulation, and wood to kill the mold from the inside of my house. Ozone is used by many companies to cure “Sick House” syndrome. (Where mold or fungus invades the walls of houses.)

Now the way ozone cures cancer is the same way it kills the above-mentioned organisms. It was proven in the 40’s by Otto Warburg that cancer sets in when the amount of oxygen normally in the body lowers by 40%, and the cells start using sugar for power instead of oxygen. Have you ever heard of heart cancer? It doesn’t exist. There is cancer in places around the heart, but not actually in the heart. Oxygen is delivered straight to the heart from the lungs. Cancer is a lower life form like virus, bacteria, etc. Cancer loves use oxygen and doesn’t have the enzymes to protect itself from oxidation. So cancer cells can be killed by ozone.

I know this all may sound confusing, or too simple to be true, but there are numerous studies proving this. Just add some common sense in and it all makes sense. This is why we decided to try it when my wife HAD 18 tumors through out her body and the doctors said there was nothing they could do, so go home and die. That was 4 years ago.


Ozone is very effective alone or in combination with other therapies, conventional, or alternative. Ozone is essentially electrified oxygen, and there’s virtually no disease that won’t benefit from more oxygen.  This is clearly documented in some of the references listed on this web page.

1. Ozone Selectively Inhibits Growth of Human Cancer Cells

The growth of human cancer cells from lung, breast, and uterine tumors was selectively inhibited in a dose-dependent manner by ozone at 0.3 to 0.8 parts per million of ozone in ambient air during 8 days of culture. Human lung diploid fibroblasts served as noncancerous control cells. The presence of ozone at 0.3 to 0.5 parts per million inhibited cancer cell growth 40 and 60 percent, respectively. The non-cancerous lung cells were unaffected at these levels. Exposure to ozone at 0.8 parts per million inhibited cancer cell growth more than 90 percent and control cell growth less than 50 percent. Evidently, the mechanisms for defense against ozone damage are impaired in human cancer cells.

2. Ozone Therapy for Tumor Oxygenation: a Pilot Study**

Tumor hypoxia is an adverse factor for chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Ozone therapy is a non-conventional form of medicine that has been used successfully in the treatment of ischemic disorders. This prospective study was designed to assess the effect of ozone therapy on tumor oxygenation. Eighteen subjects were recruited for the study. Systemic ozone therapy was administered by autohemotransfusion on three alternate days over one week. Tumor oxygenation levels were measured using polarographic needle probes before and after the first and the third ozone therapy session. Overall, no statistically significant change was observed in the tumor oxygenation in the 18 patients. However, a significant decrease was observed in hypoxic values 10 and 5 mmHg of pO<inf>2</inf>. When individually assessed, a significant and inverse non-linear correlation was observed between increase in oxygenation and the initial tumor pO<inf>2</inf> values at each measuring time-point, thus indicating that the more poorly-oxygenated tumors benefited most (rho = -0.725; P = 0.001). Additionally, the effect of ozone therapy was found to be lower in patients with higher hemoglobin concentrations (rho = -0.531; P < 0.034). Despite being administered over a very short period, ozone therapy improved oxygenation in the most hypoxic tumors. Ozone therapy as adjuvant in chemo-radiotherapy warrants further research.

3. Ozone Plus Cobalt Therapy In Patients Suffering From Prostatic Cancer

Reported at the 2nd International Symposium on Ozone Applications: March 1997 by L. Borrego, L. L. Borrero, E. C. Díaz1, S. Menéndez2, L. R. Borrego3, R. A. Borrego3. This study involved these institutes in Cuba: Provincial Center of Retinitis Pigmentosa, Holgu’n, V.I. Provincial Center of Retinitis Pigmentosa, Holguín, Ozone Research Center.

Prostatic adenocarcinoma is the most frequent tumor in men older than 50 years old, representing the 16.7 % of all the death cases of cancer in male sex. With an early diagnose and an appropriate treatment the survival increase in 5 years, in 91 % of cases. Cancer metabolism is fundamentally anaerobic, for that reason, increasing oxygenation in damaged tissues, may diminished the side effects produced by radiation treatments, as well as increase radio-sensibility. The aim of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of ozone therapy in conjunction with cobalt-60 therapy, in the treatment of patients suffering from prostatic cancer, taking into account the influence that ozone exerts in tissue oxygenation. 70 patients with malignant neoplasia in prostate, stage A and B of the disease (intracapsular) were treated by an oncourology muldisciplinary group of the “Lenin” Hospital (Holguin Province). 35 patients were treated with rectal ozone plus cobalt therapy (ozone group) and 35 with cobalt therapy only (control group). The appearance of side effects (dermatitis radiation, cystitis, proctitis) and the behavior of some humoral and clinical parameters were evaluated up to 6 months after finishing the treatment. 84 % and 52 % of side effects were presented in control group and ozone group, respectively. Prostatic specific antigen (PSA) decrease, less than 10 ng/mL, in 92 % of patients treated with ozone and in 52 % in control group,

one month after finishing the treatment. 88 % and 80 % of clinical and humoral control of the disease were obtained in ozone group and control group, respectively, 6 months later. It is concluded that, combining cobalt therapy with ozone, a decrease in side effects and an increase in radio-sensibility were achieved.

4. Adjuvant Ozone Therapy in Advanced Head and Neck Tumors: A Comparative Study **

Advanced head and neck (H&N) tumors have a poor prognosis, and this is worsened by the occurrence of hypoxia and ischemia in the tumors. Ozone therapy has proved useful in the treatment of ischemic syndromes, and several studies have described a potential increase of oxygenation in tissues and tumors. The aim of this prospective study was to evaluate the clinical effect of Ozone therapy in patients with advanced H&N cancer in the course of their scheduled radiotherapy. Over a period of 3 years, 19 patients with advanced H&N tumors who were undergoing treatment in our department with non-standard fractionated radiotherapy plus oral tegafur. A group of 12 patients was additionally treated with intravenous chemotherapy before and/or during radiotherapy. In the other group of seven patients, systemic ozone therapy was administered twice weekly during radiotherapy. The ozone therapy group was older (64 versus 54 years old, P = 0.006), with a higher percentage of lymph node involvement (71% versus 8%, P = 0.019) and with a trend to more unfavorable tumor stage (57% versus 8% IVb + IVc stages, P =

0.073). However, there was no significant difference in overall survival between the chemotherapy (median 6 months) and ozone therapy (8 months) groups. Although these results have to be viewed with caution because of the limited number of patients, they suggest that ozone therapy could have had some positive effect during the treatment of our patients with advanced H&N tumors. The adjuvant administration of ozone therapy during the chemo-radiotherapy for these tumors merits further research.

5. Effect of a parenteral ozone-oxygen mixture on the concentration of immunoglobulins (IgA, IgG, IgM), of vitamin A and lysozyme activity in patients with cervical cancer**

In the literature you can find several therapeutic possibilities in the treatment of carcinoma by additive ozone therapy. We investigated the consequences of ozone therapy for the immunological status, lysozyme and vitamin A. 21 women with progressive cervical cancer (Stage III, IV) got besides the conventional irradiation therapy also an additive ozone therapy. After irradiation and ozone therapy a small decrease in IgG, IgA and IgM can be seen. A statistical significance could not be evaluated. There was no difference to the control group in lysozyme and vitamin A.

40 female patients with primary and 5 patients with recurrence of genital cancer after treatment have received radiotherapy and a daily parenteral ozone mixture medication. It appears that under influence of the supplementary ozone-oxygen mixture treatment, the regression of female genital tumors in both groups studied was faster. The side-effects of the radiotherapy were reduced and

the general condition of the patients improved. The best results were observed in patients with recurrence of poorly oxygen-supplied genital tumors.

A short survey is given of the historical development and the physical basis of ozone therapy. Ozone is used in medicine as well as in other spheres. Papers reporting good results of ozone treatment in carcinoma seemed of particular interest. The efficacy of ozone as an adjuvant to the irradiation of carcinosarcomas of rats was confirmed by us. On account of this fact ozone was introduced by us as an adjuvant to the irradiation of women with gynaecological cancer and appeared to give good results. The mechanism of action of ozone is not yet fully clarified and several theories are discussed. Investigations are currently being undertaken in respect to the behaviour of several substances in the organism during ozone therapy.

8. Cancer outcomes at the Hufeland: a best-case series review **

A best-case series review is an efficient tool with which to screen complex complementary and alternative treatments for cancer as candidates for further study. STUDY DESIGN: The National Cancer Institute and other agencies have adopted the best-case series method to evaluate cancer treatments involving complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) for further study. The authors conducted a best-case series review of the Hufeland Klinik. Established in 1985 in Bad Mergentheim, Germany, this facility treats more than 500 cancer patients per year. Hufeland treatment includes dietary modification, injections, ozone therapy, active fever therapy, psychotherapy, and sometimes hormone therapy and/or low-dose chemotherapy. The goal of the treatment is to prolong survival and to maintain good quality of life. METHODS: The clinic provided summaries of 27 cases in which patients with longer than expected survival had agreed to make their medical records available for review. The review involved pathologic confirmation of disease and radiologic confirmation of complete response (CR) or partial response (PR) not attributable to conventional treatment. RESULTS: Based on the summaries and an exhaustive 2-year search for medical records, slides, and imaging data, 12 of 27 cases were selected for full review, and 5 (3 CRs and 2 PRs) were judged best cases. CONCLUSION: Most patients with common cancers receive conventional treatment before coming to Hufeland, and many are treated with chemotherapy and/or hormonal therapy while there. Hence, only a few could be considered for review. With 5 of 12 patients showing a treatment response, the authors conclude that the Hufeland treatment merits further study. They also recommend the development of criteria with which to evaluate best-case series reviews of complex CAM treatments for patients with advanced cancer.

9. Ozonetherapy in a Complex Treatment of Breast Cancer

There have been followed up 52 women with breast cancer, confirmed histologically, age ranging from 40 to 60 years. 32 patients along with cytostatic therapy have undergone a course of ozone therapy of intravenous infusions or rectal insufflations and ozonated water per os. 20 women were on conventional polychemotherapy. The groups were compatible according the age, stage of the disease and accompanying pathology. Involvement of ozone therapy in a complex treatment of patients with breast cancer helped to diminish the incidence and degree of cytostatics toxical side effects, improve their life quality and immunological parameters and significally increase the activity of antioxidant defence system.

10. Three case reports on the holistic approach to patients with neoplasm including the use of medical ozone**

In this report we present the successful treatment of three patients with malignant carcinoma with a combined alternative therapy including Ozone, diet, Homoeopathy, herbs and immunotherapy. Although treatment with Ozone is not a very aggressive procedure as compared to a large number of conventional measures, usually other traditional alternative therapies such as Homoeopathy and herbs are first given to our patients. Then, the patient’s response is evaluated and Ozone is added in many cases to the initial treatment scheme. Although positive tests for acid phosphatase were never found in our male patient, P.S.A. levels were highly suggestive of prostate adenocarcinoma which clearly responded to therapy on two occasions. There is a lot of controversy now on whether the benefits of aggressive treatment in prostate cancer outweigh the associated risks and side effects. Conventional aggressive treatment include radiation and surgery. A fair percentage of patients who undergo this kind of treatment suffer from complications such as impotency (30-50%), mild to severe incontinence and even death.13 In the case of a residual ovarian tumour, the recovery of the patient and the return of her lab tests, in particular CA 12.5, to normal values, were clearly associated to the administration of a combined treatment including Ozone as a major component. In our patient with breast cancer, there was a dramatic change in the regional histopathology including the unusual reversion of a metastatic tumour process to a localised disease. This event could only be explained by the intensive therapeutic measures applied soon after the initial pathologic report. It is also remarkable the way the patient responded to a new treatment programme when a new lump had emerged. These events clearly challenge usual protocols adopted for the conventional treatment of cancer. It is not unusual to obtain similar satisfactory results with this alternative treatment programme in other cases of cancer patients in our clinic. However, an appropriate documentation of these cases implies a big economic effort from our patients which unfortunately limits the frequency of clinical reporting. Likewise, it is really difficult to determine the efficiency of Ozone as a single therapeutic measure in cancer patients. It would obviously be unethical to deprive these patients of empirically and even scientifically tested alternative measures such as dietary supplementation in order to establish the real potential of this gas in Oncology.

11. Ozone-oxygen Therapy for Gynecologic Carcinomas**

The effect of parenteral-ozone oxygen mixture administration on free fatty acids and triglycerides in patients with gynecologic carcinomas


As some authors suspect that ozone influences the metabolic process of fat, we tried to analyse the influence of an ozone-oxygen gas which was applied parenterally. 40 patients with gynecological cancer received 10 ml ozone-oxygen gas with a content of 450 gamma ozone and venous blood was removed before and 10 minutes after application. The serum was lyophilized and the level of fatty acids and triglycerids was determined by the method of Randerath (1965). a statistically significant decrease of the concentrations was observed after application of ozone. Different theories as to the cause of this action are discussed.

12. Ozonotherapy in the Early Postoperative Period in the Surgical Treatment of Lung Cancer**

The ozonotherapy influence on the postoperative treatment in patients after the radical lung resection due to the lung cancer is analyzed. The studies were performed from 1996 to 1999. The patients were divided into two group: the patients of the first group (40 persons) were treated with the standard infusion therapy in the postoperative period, the patients of the second group (160 persons) werw treated with ozoned crystalloids combined with the standard therapy. Due to the ozonotherapy the purulent complications in the second group reduced by a factor of 12,5 and mortality reduced by a factor of 2,6.

We followed the concept that the chemical reactivity of ozone depends upon its oxidative properties. Activated oxygen species are causally involved in toxicity of certain chemotherapeutic drugs. We have tested this prediction in human cell cultures either to overcome chemoresistance and/or to increase chemical cytotoxicity. Our results indicate that ozone in combination with 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) makes a 5-FU-resistant cell line susceptible for the combined treatment modality. Furthermore, ozone acts synergistically or at least additive to chemotherapy in different tumor cell suspensions, derived from the breast and the colon.

14. Restoration of Normoxia by Ozone Therapy May Control Neoplastic Growth**

In contrast to normal tissues, tumors thrive in hypoxic environments. This appears to be because they can metastasize and secrete angiopoietins for enhancing neoangiogenesis and further tumor spread. Thus, during chronic ischemia, normal tissues tend to die, while neoplasms tend to grow. During the past two decades, it has been shown in arteriopathic patients that ozonated autohemotherapy is therapeutically useful because it increases oxygen delivery in hypoxic tissues, leading to normoxia. Although several oxygenation approaches have been tested, none is able to restore normoxia permanently in patients with cancer. We postulate that a prolonged cycle of ozonated autohemotherapy may correct tumor hypoxia, lead to less aggressive tumor behavior, and represent a valid adjuvant during or after chemo- or radiotherapy. Moreover, it may re-equilibrate the chronic oxidative stress and reduce fatigue.

Standalone Ability

Ozone does not seem to need other product to work effectively.

Ease of Use and Protocols

Most applications require a ½ hour at the most. Some require going to a doctor. Tthe following are the most common methods that people use for taking ozone.

Warning Never use ozone and DMSO and Ozone. Although ozone is safe in most circumstances, the combination of ozone and DMSO can be fatal. Also, some people are hypersensitive to ozone.

Autohemotherapy Injection – Withdrawing 50-500 cc of blood into a container, adding ozone and shaking the mixture, infusing the mixture into the patient over 20 – 30 minutes as an IV drip. A similar method, RHP Therapy, uses larger amounts of blood than 500cc. This is probably the most effective way to use ozone for curing diseases.

Direct Injection – Injecting ozone into a vein, artery, muscle, joint, or tumor.

Insufflation – Using a metal tube, or plastic adaptor for areas like ears, vagina, rectum, or urethra.

Inhalation – Breathing ozone that is bubbled through olive oil, or eucalyptus oil. However, this does weekend the ozone a bit.

You can also just turn on the generator in a small room while breathing regularly. You can stay in such a room for as long as you like provided the ozone is not an unreasonably high concentrated. Prolonged exposure in a room full of ozone can cause coughing and light headedness. If this happens, a person could just lower the setting on his or her generator and the problem would go away.

Ozone when first inhaled irritates the lungs, true, but your body starts protecting itself, (through the same enzymes building up in the lungs) and you can ultimately breath quite a bit without any damage at all.

Ingestion – Putting ozone in a glass of water (takes about 15 minutes) and drinking the water.


All of the following transdermal applications are used for 15 to 30 minutes:

Bagging – An area of the body is sealed off with a plastic bag, and ozone fills the bag. A body suit is also used.

Ozonated olive oil – Ozone is infused into olive oil for about two weeks, then applied to the skin.

Funnel – A funnel connected to the output of the ozone generator is used to flow ozone to an area of the body.

Steam Sauna – a patient sits with his or her head outside of the sauna with ozone rich applied to the rest of the body.


Ozone seems to be a good cancer prevention because cancer happens when the oxygen level in cells is lowered by 40%. Ozone can prevent this oxygen level reduction. People who have used ozone as a cancer prevention drink one glass of ozonated water daily.

Side Effects and Toxicity

Ozone has been used in Europe for about 50 years. A 1982 German study of 384,775 patients documented only a 0.000005% rate of adverse side effects. This is much , safer than any drug. For example, several thousand people in America die from aspirin each year each year.

The ozone rash happens to 80% of people who apply ozone to the ears. It can be annoying, itchy, and cause lymph fluid containing toxins to appear on the ears. A very few people can also get the rash, or a mild version when “funneling” the skin. The rash is the body eliminating toxins, and will go away when the toxins are gone, leaving fresh healthy skin.

There are some detox symptoms such as low-grade fever, nausea, sore lungs,faintness, flu-like symptoms, or tiredness when starting to use ozone. These symptoms usually subside within a few days, and are replaced with a feeling of well being and energy. These “side effects” are usually just ozone doing it’s job, they eventually go away.

If you get a concentrated breath of medical grade ozone to your lungs, it will instantly oxidize all the toxins in your lungs. The natural reaction is coughing. In reality it’s a good thing, but the symptoms seem serious. This is with medical grade ozone usually.

Prolonged exposure in a room full of ozone can cause coughing and light headedness. If this happens, a person could just lower the setting on his or her generator and the problem would go away.

Warning Although ozone is very safe in most circumstances, the combination of ozone and DMSO can be fatal. People who use both of these treatments usually wait eight hours between each treatment for safety.

Ozone in your Eyes
Although it doesn’t damage your eyes, they will turn red, and burn a little for 2-3 days. Now this is in high concentrations, not in normal use. This is with medical grade ozone for instance when ozonating the face area. There are studies showing eye problems can be cured using ozonated water in the eyes. So it does no damage. The reason for the redness is because of a ph change in the eyes, which is good. It’s just that ozone does it instantly that makes it turn red.


Ozone is compatible with just about any treatment, even chemo and radiation. There have been studies showing ozone actually enhances the effects of chemo and radiation, so the patient requires less of them to kill cancer. Also ozone helps a patient recover from the effects of chemo and radiation.
